About
Nancy Sedar Sherman
I
am a Denver native.......I’ve lived other exciting places,
Sydney, Australia, New York, NY and San Francisco, CA but I always
come back to Denver. I love the life style, the mountains and of
course my family and friends.
Fashion has always been my means of creative expression. I started
sewing in high school, moving on to pattern making and draping in
college at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. I’ve
made baby bibs, kids suspenders, painted sweatshirts, elaborate
evening wear, and everything in between. Fashion takes on many different
faces and to design in Denver means being open to a variety of opportunities.
I have had my own business for the past twelve years, digitizing
for other embroiders and specializing in high end embroidery used
in clothing and Judaica. My embroidery and fashion designs have
won international embroidery and wearable art competitions.
My husband is a jewelry artist and sculptor. I have fourteen year
old twin boys who are students at Denver School of the Arts, one
is a vocal major the other a dance major. Our household vibrates
with creative energy which usually is a good thing!
